Pretty nifty, and I can see it being genuinely useful. Biggest feature I'd love to see is wiring - Allow me to hook up wires to the ports on patch panels and switches, then let me check the lengths of the wire. It would be difficult to make it perfect measurements, but even a ballpark number would be enough to plan out a build/rebuild of a rack, and make sure you've purchased the right length cables for the shortest possible runs between the patch panel and the switches.
