  1. Press gf.
  2. Hints are displayed (the same as when f is pressed).
  3. Selecting a hint in the usual way, causes the url to be displayed in the status bar (in the same way as a mouseover). (e.g. Keysnail calls elem.focus on the url.)

A workaround is to do yf+# which will tell you what URL was yanked in the status indicator (but it will cut off the end and replace with ... if the URL is too long).

Add a new "activateMode" option key named "action"

- focus
- hover

This would fix philc#2188 and philc#3055.
