Fsleyes with latest fsl 1.7.0 takes 50sec to load over vpn and nomachine can it be improved

Hello,

I have installed fsleyes as part of fsl using fslinstaller package on a shared GPFS (network) file system .

I use no machine over vpn to connect to server having fsleyes and the load time to start fsleyes is almost 1 min (50sec).

Has any tried to improve the load time (make it atleast 20 sec )

Hi @Amjadhpc, I'm afraid this is much more likely due to the performance of your file system than to do with FSLeyes. I'd suggest talkiing with your system administrators to see if they can come up with a solution (e.g. ramdisk could be an option).
