Fix hack in tests/test_moti_normalize.py

tests/test_moti_normalize.py uses a hack to circumvent a problem that is more likely due to mismanaging the logger output. It would be better to just manage the logger output properly. It has been suggested that the issue could be not flushing the I/O buffer prior to the test.
