We discussed the redesign of the Events screen in today's meeting. The decisions made and further steps are listed below. For detailed information, please refer to the minutes.

Decision:

• Entities will be implemented, but only for ILIAS 10, as there is currently no responsiveness available for Entities

Next steps:

• Create issue for missing responsiveness of Entities (DONE: https://mantis.ilias.de/view.php?id=45603) > Depending on further clarifications and developments, possibly integrate entities into ILIAS 9 after all (if responsiveness becomes possible soon).
• At the same time: start conversion to entities for ILIAS 10
• Discussion on tiles postponed until later, as opinion-forming is planned in Bonn. Bonn will communicate it's opinion via Github Dicussions or Matrix Chat. Trend: remove tiles from ILIAS 10.

Update: Bonn communicated its opinion (short: "no valid reason for us to keep it and thus justify the increased costs"). Therefore, the decision has been made and the tile view will definitely be removed for ILIAS 10. More information: opencast-ilias/OpenCast#436 (comment)

We discussed the "future of the paella player in the ILIAS plugin" in today's meeting. The decisions made and further steps are listed below. For detailed information, please refer to the minutes. Unfortunately, I forgot to record the meeting. Sorry for that!

Decision:

• The ILIAS community will focus on alternative/variant 3 and will try to switch to variant 3 in the foreseeable future.

Next steps:

• Clarify by @dagraf: When will all ILIAS plugin users be using OC-18?
• @ferishili is working on a proof of concept implementation for ILIAS > Idea: Showcase it at OC-DACH in Jena, maybe already with live chat.
• Clarifications for the live chat feature:
  1. @ferishili will do first test: connect iframe (V3) to the current live chat of the ILIAS plugin
  2. @dagraf will present the idea of integrating a live chat feature into the Paella Player or into Opencast at the roadmap meeting in September.
