Slack/Discord for contributing?

Interested in getting involved is there an asynchronous communication channel to understand the current state of the project? I see a roadmap, is it encouraged to just pick an issue off of there? If so, any good first issues?

For daily communication, we use the #planning-council channel.

Every Wednesday, we have a video conference call to discuss progress and the next steps https://meet.google.com/upr-fyff-ksb at 5 PM London. You and everybody else are welcome to join.

Code reviews are appreciated as well.

We are facing a challenge of making the "first" pre-release. As soon as we have the first release, we'll be able to provide many "good first issue".
