Is this lib available from official Debian repository?

If not, could you add it please?

Well, it seems this project is pretty abandoned. Moreover, Debian has moved to Nftables, so I suspect its source code should be modified anyway...

Hi! Packaging for Debian in progress, it seems this project is used as a dependency for PQConnect?!

https://bugs.debian.org/1091494

Is there any reason why this wouldn't work?

Hi again. One concern that was brought up in

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1091506#10

is that the self-tests uses the python-unshare module which is a trivial module.

I also noticed that there is some confusion around the python-unshare module, there is one on PyPI:

https://pypi.org/project/unshare/

But your project reference this python-unshare:

https://github.com/NightTsarina/python-unshare

What do you think about using something like what Helmut propose in the first link?

Thanks,
Simon

This package is available in Debian trixie now, so I believe this bug can be closed.
