Data Usage Estimation

I'm planning to deploy OpenWISP on some of my gateways that use SIM cards for communication. To estimate my data costs, I'd like to know the approximate data usage per device per day.
Could anyone share their experience or provide guidance on the typical data consumption of OpenWISP on a gateway? Are there any factors that significantly impact data usage?

For openwisp-config, the traffic mostly depends on

• the interval used to check for config updates
• the size of the config
• how often the config changes
