The Materials Catalog (CATMAT) and the Services Catalog (CATSER), part of the Integrated System of Administration and General Services (SIASG), are the databases that identify all materials tendered and acquired, and all services contracted by the Federal Public Administration. All operations carried out through SIASG/Government Procurement use these catalogs to define the objects of the respective bids and contracts. The organization of data in the catalogs has a direct impact on the quality of information received from SIASG and on the cross-referencing of information on public spending.
