How to update the inverter/DTU firmware without creating an account for the cloud features?

Hi! Just a small question regarding the hoymiles dtu/inverter software updates. How do I trigger an update? I do not use the Hoymiles' cloud application but the S-Miles Home app if absolutely necessary - that's why I came to dtuGateway in the first place.

The inverter is the Wi-Fi version. However, I cannot find an option for a firmware update in the S-Miles Home app. Here's how I connect to the inverter:

1. Open app
2. Login
3. Connect to device (not logging into a registered account)
4. Add device manually: WiFi Version

Where do I have to look now? I also made sure, that my phone has internet access over data.

I moved this from the issues to not pollute it with my questions any longer.

in the middle under Devices -> upper right corner (gearwheel) ->Firmware-Update

That's how the settings (gearwheel) menu looks for me.

I cannot locate updates there or elsewhere. Is it really necessary to have a registered account? In my point of view, both the inverter and the app should be able to perform an update as long as they are connected to the internet. Just remember the security issue not long ago.
