Missing Profile Statistics via OpenDota API

Hello OpenDota Team,

I’m experiencing an issue while using the OpenDota API. Despite my Steam profile being public, I cannot access my Dota 2 statistics through the API.

Could you please clarify:

1/ Do I need to register or link my Steam ID specifically with OpenDota for my stats to become visible?
2/ Are there any common reasons (e.g., delays in updates) why my stats might not appear?

Here’s my STEAM ID for reference: 76561198044136869
DOTA ID: 83871141

You need to enable Expose Public Match Data in the Dota client.
