Cannot git tag

On my machine, there is problem In the file "migration.rb" with the line:

run_command("git tag -a -m \"#{escape_quotes(subject)}\" \"#{escape_quotes(id)}\" \"#{escape_quotes(tag)}\"")

I get this command:

git tag -a -m ""Creating 2.4.0 branch of the xxx component."" "2.4.0" "svn/tags/2.4.0"

The double quotes lead to problems. It would be better to replace special characters in #{escape_quotes(subject)}
