Hallpass Queue Overview
The queue feature allows students to line up digitally when only one person is allowed out of the classroom at a time.
1. Students request to use the bathroom by adding themselves to a virtual queue.
2. If someone is already out, the new student’s name is added to the queue and they must wait their turn.
3. The system displays a live queue list, so everyone knows their place in line.
4. When the current student returns and logs their "time in", the system automatically notifies the next student in the queue that it’s their turn.
5. This cycle continues, ensuring an organized, first-come-first-served system.
The feature helps:
1. Log all bathroom activity with timestamps for accountability.
2. Eliminate interruptions caused by multiple students asking to leave.
3. Make bathroom use fair and transparent.
Access
To access the hallpass queue, ensure that you are first logged in. Navigate to the student toolkit dashboard and locate the hallpass.
Features
⏳Add Me to Queue - adds you to the list of students waiting in line for the bathroom for your teacher—in this case, Mr. Mortensen’s Queue.
❌Remove Me from Queue - if you no longer need the pass before it's your turn.
❔Issues - allows you to report any problems encountered in the bathroom.
🔚Exit - brings you back to the main dashboard or previous screen.
