Live Preview

It would be nice to have a live preview when I write markdown. For that, I split the text editor in two, so I can activate the preview in one editor while editing the same file in another editor. However, the plugin doesn't update the preview, only when I switch from the "Text" to "Preview" tab back and forth.

I forked this plug-in, merged a couple of pull requests, made a few bug corrections and added live preview with customizable CSS in settings to make it easier to play with the styles. I decided to release the forked version as a new plug-in since this one seems to be lacking attention.

It is called MultiMarkdown and is awaiting approval from JetBrains but can be found at https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/7896, source available at: http://github.com/vsch/idea-multimarkdown.

I just fixed and updated the syntax highlighting, if anyone cares to try it out. It also has an HTML tab.

Notice: This plugin is no more maintained and it has been removed from Jetbrains plugins repository. There is a Markdown plugin officially supported by Jetbrains.
