Common Issue: Docker Client API Version Incompatibility

Here is a common error that people may encounter when running updated versions of Watchtower:

Error response from daemon: client version x.xx is too new. Maximum supported API version is x.xx

This is commonly seen when using devices that have Docker added as a feature by device manufacturers, such as Synology.

If you run into this, then your version of Docker likely needs to be updated.

As of release version 1.11.0, this issue should hopefully be resolved by the use of Docker's built-in autonegotiation. I left the ability to manually configure the API version for both testing and advanced-use cases.
