Trailing slash rewrite - duplicated content SEO issue

Hello, I'm wondering how we can achieve trailing slash rewrite in Nginx Unit in case of PHP (Laravel) app? I need to return 301 redirect for all requests that ends with / to address without it. The purpose of it is to fight with duplicated content from SEO perspective.

In Nginx it can be achieved with one simple rewrite:

rewrite ^/(.*)/$ /$1 permanent;

How we can do it in case of Nginx Unit?

First of all thank you for super fast reply. I tried this config, but it doesn't work :/ I'm receiving 301 redirect, but with broken URL.

Thanks for that. There might be some confusion by the term "module" because we support Node.JS as a language runtime and "NGINX JavaScript" (njs) as a configuration extension to the Unit core.

We'll discuss with Remi in more detail because njs enables many use cases independent of the "language module".

I just tested it and it works now perfectly fine directly from Remi repo.
