[Feature Request] Sync with news app #67

I find the nextcloud news app (https://github.com/nextcloud/news) to be a good way to manage RSS feeds. Unfortunately its not ideal for a podcast client (I'd rather use something like AntennaPod), which I sync with the gpoddersync app (https://github.com/thrillfall/nextcloud-gpodder).

Unfortunately it seems like nextcloud-gpodder an antennapod keep seperate databases for RSS feeds. It'd be nice if gpodder could use a podcast folder in news, or news could have a folder for gpoddersync if installed.

I'm also going to open a duplicate of this feature request in the gpoddersync app.

I think you need to explain your expectations a bit clearer.

From what I understand you have antennapod and the gpodder app. I have not used them together yet so I don't know what you mean by separate databases. From my understanding with this app you can sync multiple gpodder compatible clients.

Now news and the news app sync via nextcloud news sync protocol, that was designed years ago.

If we now had a gpodder folder, what would you expect to happen?

See all the feeds of the gpodder app?

I can imagine that gpodder and news are not really comparable regarding the data they store per feed/episode.

But yea feel free to explain it more detailed, what would be the benefit for the user.
