Hello Friend,

Is There any way to backup the running configuration into the host that runs ansible?

I looked at cisco_snmp_save_config, but looks like is just "Save the running configuration to startup".

Hi,

When I wrote these modules Ansible didn't have a way to work with network devices. Since Ansible 2.1 this functionality is built into Ansible. Do you see any need to be able to backup the configuration using using SNMP instead of using the ios_command module?

Best regards
Patrick
