NetBox v2.10.3 : netbox.netbox.netbox_ip_address : AttributeError: 'dict' object has no attribute 'serialize'

netbox.netbox.netbox_ip_address errors with NetBox web application version 2.10.3

I've been trying a lot of different combinations of versions of collection and python pip packages, but I can't get the netbox.netbox.netbox_ip_address module to work. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong, or help me to get it right?

tl;dr

• v3.1.2 netbox.netbox.netbox_ip_address gives `AttributeError: 'dict' object has no attribute 'serialize'
• v3.0.0 netbox.netbox.netbox_ip_address gives state is new but any of the following are missing: address, prefix
• same playbook, same inventory.
• NetBox web application is v 2.10.3
• What am I doing wrong ?

I have also tried, while staying on each netbox.netbox version, the following versions of pynetbox with pip

pynetbox==6.1.3
pynetbox==7.4.1
