We're researchers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and GFW Report. We've been developing CensorAlert, a platform that uses LLM agents to automatically aggregate, summarize, translate, and rank censorship reports from a wide range of public sources. These include measurement platforms (OONI, Cloudflare Radar, NetBlocks, etc.), censorship-focused social media pages, forums like this one, and more.
The goal is to give researchers and practitioners a unified feed to stay on top of the most significant censorship events and new developments in the space. You can browse the feed at censoralert.org or subscribe to our Telegram channel for regular notifications.
We'll be presenting an extended abstract of this work at FOCI 2026, and would appreciate your feedback. Are there sources we should be monitoring that we're currently missing? Is the feed useful to you? What would make it better? This is meant to be a community resource, so any suggestions, criticisms, and ideas are welcome. Please feel free to reach out at [email protected].
