Section link doesn't work event with with URI encoding

I wanted to use nutshell again and ran into the same error, first on my own side, then in the Try Nutshell demo. Weirdly, the links to other sites still work, only the internal references seem to be broken.
On the other hand, everything on https://ncase.me/nutshell/ still works

Maybe someone with more js and html knowledge than me could take a look at it:

Okay, for me, it could be fixed by loading an earlier version of nutshell.
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/ncase/nutshell/nutshell.js"></script> currently points to v1.0.8.
Explicitly reverting to <script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/ncase/nutshell@1.0.7/nutshell.js"></script> removed the buggy behaviour.
