While using the Add Command and Edit Command with the link fields, I've noticed that if users were to add more modules or update their timetables at the same link, the changes will not be reflected on NUSMates.
Example:
- Alice uses NUSMates, and adds her friend Bob to her contact list
add n/Bob l/https://nusmods.com/timetable/sem-2/share?CS2040S=TUT:08,REC:01,LEC:2
- Bob makes further edits on the same link
https://nusmods.com/timetable/sem-2/share?CS2040S=TUT:08,REC:01,LEC:2, such as adding new modules to his timetable
- Alice does not see the changes reflected on her NUSMates
Alice may be confused as to why the changes are not showing on her NUSMates app.
Suggestion: Perhaps you could look into automatically updating changes once a user makes updates to their timetable, or you could link the portion from the FAQ to the edit section so users will be informed about this.
