[AppImage] won't run due to EGL_BAD_PARAMETER errors

This is stock tauri appimage issue. The appimage needs to be made from deb using sharun to fix this.

Hi, thank you for bringing this to my attention.
There has been recent activity in tauri-apps/tauri#12491 and it seems that would fix the issue, however I'm not hopeful it will be getting merged soon.

I may look at implementing the fix in the PR you linked but it is low on my priority list at the moment, if anyone wants to open a PR I will review it.

Wayland client library should not be included into AppImage.

./your.appimage --appimage-extract
rm squashfs-root/usr/lib/*wayland*so*
cd squashfs-root && ./AppRun
