This error usually appears when the server in question is too old. I would suggest updating the server.

Just out of curiosity - and I might be completely wrong here - but isn't the encryption standard provided by the OS?

Alright. That means version-wise you are up-to-date and in theory you shouldn't be seeing this error 👀

this has been introduced in 6fdad28 back in 2009 and has not really been touched since.
