The game was inspired by the author's hair raising runs around the city of San Francisco in early 2017 when he would come within an inch of his life...and city buses...while putting in the weekly miles.

The game is an obvious homage to both Pac-Man and Frogger, games loved by the author who grew up playing them on the Atari 2600.
