Corrupt poppet curse and voodoo protected poppet problem and idea #95
Description
Voodoo protected poppet works great (and that lightning strike is a masterpiece with this mechanic, thank you!), but perhaps it works too well, as it also protects against Corrupt poppet curse, which, technically, should be a countermeasure to voodoo protected poppet.
From a mechanical standpoint, everything works perfectly, but in order to desecrate a voodoo protected poppet, the curse must be placed on the target before the target receives their voodoo protected poppet. If this is done in this sequence, the desecration of the poppet works and instead of protection, it gives a negative effect of weakness 2 and the target receives the curse.
If the target already has a voodoo protected poppet, then the Corrupt poppet curse will not work, and the caster will be struck by lightning. Everything is normal here in terms of all curses.
Perhaps the simplest option is to add Corrupt poppet curse to the blacklist for voodoo protected poppet, but to be honest, this seems a bit too 'simple' (though quick and effective).
Here's a more 'fun option', but just take it as an idea, I don't want to make you work even harder, you're already doing so much (thank you for that!)
In the original Witchery, there was a curse that destroyed 10 poppets after casting (not only protection from voodoo, but also protection from hunger, water, death, and so on). Perhaps if you add a special spell circle to destroy voodoo protection poppets, it will make the gameplay more deep.
There was also a voodoo protected poppet that protected against destruction by a destroy poppet spell. In general, it's like an arms race within the game, which is fun for the PvP part of the mod.
