No progress when using /output flag

I've been trying to use it with /output but for some reason, I get no progress

I let it run like this for 20 minutes then had to stop it seeing no progress.
On the other hand, I ran it without /output flag, displaying straight to console, and I get a lot of results. In this case, it finishes in about 15 minutes
