Issues with sound in snapcast

I finally got it working on debian, but the audio quality is bad. What could be the issue?

The audio is choppy. I tried to record audio clip using my phone, but the music stopped when I hit record, so I was unable to. Therefore, I decided to connect my laptop to Bluetooth and record using my phone, and the quality on the laptop is amazing! The Bluetooth quality is just as good as the "scream" network sound driver. It is definitely an android issue. I'm using a Galaxy s24

You could try changing the sample rate. From what i found out is, that you can set it manually in your Android Phone.
Also be sure, that the entire chain is configured correctly for that sample rate.

Thanks for that suggestion but I already tried playing with sample rates. 44.1 works best when I set it in snapcast. My Galaxy phone doesn't allow me to change it. I will try using using an iPhone or another android and will report back.
