When scrolling horizontally in tables using the mouse wheel (tested with the Logitech MX Master 3S on a Mac), the browser navigates forward or backward through the history of the current tab. This occurs even though macOS native features for horizontal scrolling are disabled. This issue is present only in this specific browser, while horizontal scrolling works as expected in others without triggering history navigation.
Suggestion:
It would be helpful to add an option to disable this behavior, so that users can scroll horizontally within tables or other scrollable elements without inadvertently navigating through their browsing history.
Expected Behavior:
When a user scrolls horizontally within a table or scrollable element, the focus should remain on the table, and there should be no unintended navigation through the browser's history.
Tested with:
Logitech MX Master 3S mouse on a Mac, with macOS's native horizontal scrolling features disabled.
This issue does not occur in other browsers where horizontal scrolling behaves as expected without interacting with the browsing history.
