@hinderjd if you generate the xml files for the latest Ubuntu STIG version, can you manually inspect a few STIG vulnerabilities first? I've found multiple issues in the current Ubuntu XML files.

I opened a PR to address the issue but if PowerStig.Convert is used to generate the XML from the associated xccdf file, this could point to an underlying parsing issue. Please check to see if the audit STIG rules are formatted correctly. This particular formatting error generates several hundred false positive findings by automated STIG compliance checking tools.
