Typed Links Problem

I use this with Linked Data. But now it seems like you need the links not to be text but in wikilinks. It's causing all sorts of problems for me as my entire vault doesn't use wikilinks in the cardinal directions. Even if i migrate over today, the current 3.6.11 crashes with wikilinks. its a catch 22 situation.
