Outline doesn't apply to alpha clip edge #3

I noticed that in Unity (using 2018.3), the outline selection on objects with alpha clip, it conforms to the texture edge. But with UnityOutlineFX, the outline follows the edge of the mesh. Is there a fix for this? I realize Unity probably updated their outliner since they last shared the code.
