Project Status

Current Phase: Month 5 - AI Agent Implementation

Active Tasks

Month 5 Week 20-21 (Dec 22-28) ✅

  • Stage 5 Polish: Deploy flow with confetti, success state, dashboard navigation (already implemented, route fix applied)
  • Error Recovery: Back navigation with state preservation, retry mechanism with counter
  • Provider Registration: Stripe + Twilio adapters registered in provider system
  • AI Prompt Update: Stripe + Twilio examples added to widget creation agent
  • Mobile Responsive: Wizard UI polish for tablet/mobile - real components wired up, responsive layouts
  • User Testing: End-to-end testing with real users (deferred to Month 6)

Completed Tasks

Month 5 Week 19 (Dec 15-21, 2025) ✅

  • Stage 3 Visualization Selector: components/wizard/VisualizationSelector.tsx - 5 visualization types (list, table, cards, metric, chart) with AI recommendation badges, thumbnails, selection states (403 lines)
  • Stage 4 Widget Preview: components/wizard/WidgetPreview.tsx - Two-panel layout (JSON schema + live preview), schema editing modal, validation, deploy CTA (310 lines)
  • Conversation Store Extension: Added selectedVisualization, generatedSchema, previewData, validation actions, localStorage persistence
  • Wizard Flow Integration: Stage routing (1→2→3→4→5), back navigation, deploy API integration, success screen
  • E2E Testing & Docs: scripts/test-visualization-flow.ts (953 lines), docs/WEEK_19_VISUALIZATION_UI.md (1,345 lines) - 100% test pass rate
  • Build Verification: 0 TypeScript errors, 26 routes generated
  • Runtime Fix: Fixed global is not defined error in Event Mesh persistence - use globalThis for browser/Node.js compatibility

Month 5 Week 18 (Dec 8-14, 2025) ✅

  • Chat API Endpoint: POST /api/ai/widget-creation/chat with SSE streaming (303 lines)
  • Deploy API Endpoint: POST /api/ai/widget-creation/deploy with schema validation + DocumentableEvent (238 lines)
  • Wizard UI Integration: Real-time streaming, error handling, retry logic (+122 lines)
  • E2E Testing: 100% accuracy (5/5 providers), 96% avg confidence, exceeds 80% target
  • Integration Documentation: WEEK_18_BACKEND_INTEGRATION.md (~1,384 lines)
  • Calendar Provider Fix: Changed "google-calendar" → "calendar" in AI prompt to match DB constraint
  • Build Verification: 0 TypeScript errors, all routes registered

Month 5 Week 17 (Dec 1-7, 2025) ✅

  • Claude API Client Setup: Anthropic SDK integrated with streaming + structured outputs (4 functions, 412 lines)
  • Event Persistence Layer: Event Mesh V2 with DocumentableEvent schema, Supabase migrations (2 tables, graph traversal)
  • Problem-First Wizard Prompt: AI agent for problem → widget inference with 5-field intent extraction (362 lines)
  • Conversation State Management: Zustand store managing 5-stage wizard flow with Event Mesh integration (397 lines)
  • Wizard UI Foundation: Chat-style interface with stage progress, message history, loading states (288 lines)
  • Build Verification: 0 TypeScript errors, all 22 routes generated successfully, test suite passing

Month 4 Priorities (Nov 20-24, 2025) ✅

  • Token Refresh: Implement background job/logic to refresh OAuth tokens
  • Infrastructure & Production Readiness: Vercel Cron, Supabase Auth, Real-time Subscriptions
  • Expiry UI: Add visual warning "Token expiring in 5m" or "Re-auth needed"
  • AI Agent Architecture: Design the prompt chain for Claude -> JSON Schema generation

  • Month 4 Complete: AI Agent & Hardening sprint finished - Production Launch Ready! 🎉
  • Token Expiry Warning System: Real-time countdown badges, warning cards, global expired banner (6 new components)
  • AI Agent Architecture: Complete design document for conversational widget creation (guided wizard approach)
  • Production Documentation: 6,800+ lines across deployment guide, known issues, OAuth troubleshooting
  • OAuth E2E Testing: Comprehensive manual test plan with 5 test suites and 40+ verification items
  • Build Fixes: Resolved TypeScript errors in polling.ts and use-widget-data.ts - 0 errors in build

  • OAuth Token Refresh System: Automatic background refresh for expiring tokens (Jira, Linear, Slack, Calendar)
