Everyone participating in this project — issues, pull requests, discussions, and reviews — is expected to be civil and constructive. Criticism belongs on the code, not on the person who wrote it.
Behavior that is not welcome here:
- Harassment, insults, or personal attacks.
- Discriminatory or demeaning comments about anyone, including on the basis of age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
- Publishing others' private information without their permission.
- Sustained disruption: bad-faith argument, deliberate derailing, or repeatedly reopening settled decisions.
This applies in all project spaces, and when representing the project in public elsewhere.
Report unacceptable behavior to the maintainer at matthew.digman@vanderbilt.edu. Reports are handled privately, and the reporter's identity is not disclosed without their agreement.
The maintainer may edit or delete comments, close issues or pull requests, or block accounts, in proportion to the conduct. As a small project, enforcement is a judgment call by one person rather than a committee process.
Adapted from the norms of the Contributor Covenant, condensed to fit a single-maintainer project. Projects wanting the full text should use Contributor Covenant v2.1 directly.
