Checks before filing an issue

Mattermost Desktop Version

5.11.0

Operating System

Linux wayland hyprland

Mattermost Server Version

9.11/10.5

Steps to reproduce

Update flatpak mattermost to the latest version.
Select another server to connect to
nothing happens

Expected behavior

The app should connect immediatly to the selected server and refresh the view.

Observed behavior

If I maximize the mattermost window (top right), the application behaves as expected.
Whenever the window looses focus, mattermost goes back to de-maximized mode and it becomes impossible to switch servers.

Log Output

No logs provided by the app on those actions

Additional Information

Workaround: roll back to the previous version on flathub
sudo flatpak update --commit=f0e15fef3f3a730bc9506e8afe28330eeaa10f4a91ab9c939ad57b086785c0c6 com.mattermost.Desktop

Hyprland is a tiling window manager so maybe there is a conflict with how the application behaves, but this behavior appears in 5.11.0
As I don't have the issue with the previous version of mattermost desktop, I suspect the problem comes from the app.

I tried also on kde plasma 6.3.1 (wayland) and the behavior is a bit different.
application starts maximized and minimizes on its own when switching server.
No problem when the window is floating

This has been reproduced and reported internally as well: https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/MM-63204
