What connection route is used?

Hello,

I have different connections between BBS and one Agent:

1. via internet
2. via VPN of my home router (slow as limited by its slow CPU)
3. via tailscale (fast, as using Client and Host CPU)

I suspect that BBS always uses (1), correct? Is it possible to change to (3)? Would I just use the tailscale-IP instead of borg.mydomain.com?

that should work. I use tailscale for remote clients so I can edit them via the command line, but I run their backups over the wire. In the client settings, you can over-ride the host on per-client settings if you have a mix of clients connecting different ways.
