Newly updated the uc version, and even tried the c version. Same results.

Never saw any ads until these two last versions

For me the ads are gone using use_v2_controller set to false in the instafel quick menu (long press home feed button)-> ig experiment opinions. Than change the value from use_v2_controller to false, kill app, clear cache.
Maybe only people in Europe see ads, because here we can choose to see ads or pay meta....

@JanWaldhorn Just found the setting. Looks like ads are gone for me as well after setting it to false.

Seems to work from my initial testing (EU Region).

For anyone who's wondering where to find the use_v2_controller flag:

1. Profile icon (bottom right corner)
2. Hamburger Menu (☰)
3. Go to the bottom --> "Internal Settings"
4. Expand the "Experimentation" submenu
5. Find "MetaConfig Settings & Overrides"
6. Select "Load All MetaConfigs"
7. Search for use_v2_controller or use v2 controller
8. The "use v2 controller = true" option should show up.
9. Set it to "False".
10. Kill the app, restart it

The official settings doesn't search for experimental settings. Use Instafel settings search box
