No display with hidden README file and empty directory.

Important note: my README files are hidden files (.HEADER.md). 
If the directory containing the readme is empty, the header is not displayed.
However, if I activate the display of hidden files in the interface, the header appears correctly.
This does not happen when there is at least one other (non-hidden) file in the directory.
