sticky notes launches a background instance with black background.

The program is working fine, the UI gets loaded seamlessly but there's this annoying background clone of this app that remains until sticky notes process is killed. Kindly resolve this issue. Thanks!

I am on Ubuntu 20.22 JJ, with KDE env.

I also noticed this. Going to Preferences -> General and turning off "Show in taskbar" removed the background instance for me.

I'm not sure if this is the same issue, but when I have the program set to start automatically, even if I have "Show in taskbar" turned off, I occasionally see a small black square in the upper left corner of the screen. Is this the same background instance with black background that this issue is talking about?

While this is on the screen, it affects my keyboard such that some keystrokes produce multiple characters. This does not happen when the program is either not running, or the program is running, but the black square isn't shown.
