Scan mission requires part SCANsat_Scanner2 that isn't researchable any more (there're newer parts to fill that role)

You can use one of those for HiRes altimetry:
scansat-sar-paz-1
scansat-sar-radarsat-2-1
scansat-sar-tandem-l-1
