Crookshanks Academy Open Source Project Code of Conduct

As contributors and maintainers of the Crookshanks Academy Open Source Project, we pledge to foster an open and inclusive environment that respects all individuals, regardless of background or identity. We value each other's contributions and seek to create a positive and collaborative space for innovation and learning.

Our Standards

  • Be respectful and considerate in all interactions.
  • Engage in constructive discussions and feedback.
  • Accept differences of opinion and seek common ground.
  • Refrain from offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language or behavior.
  • Respect the boundaries and personal space of others.
  • Do not engage in harassment, bullying, or any form of discrimination.
  • Be receptive to constructive criticism and continually strive for improvement.

Expected Behavior

All participants, including contributors, maintainers, and users, are expected to:

  • Abide by the Code of Conduct in all project-related activities.
  • Show empathy and kindness towards others.
  • Demonstrate open-mindedness and willingness to learn from others.
  • Address conflicts in a respectful and professional manner.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment or intimidation in any form.
  • Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, race, ethnicity, religion, or socioeconomic status.
  • Deliberate exclusion of certain individuals or groups.
  • Sustained disruption of discussions, events, or project activities.
  • Any form of unwelcome or inappropriate advances.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated within the Crookshanks Academy Open Source Project. Any participant engaging in such behavior may be asked to modify their conduct, or, in severe cases, be expelled from the project and its communication channels.

If you experience or witness behavior that violates the Code of Conduct, please report it to [email protected]. All reports will be kept confidential.
