Will this package be maintained in order to comply with this new standard?

The changes to be made are outlined here: https://github.com/react-native-community/react-native-maps/pull/3125/files

I might be able to get to it next week, but no promises.
Eventually we would need to update this package to update our own apps to the next React Native version.
