I attempted to run an instance of wgsim. I let it complete and it worked as intended.
I reran the same code and suspended the software with Ctrl-Z. Upon being suspended wgsim clobbers the reference genome file, making it an empty file.
I tried these steps again and was able to reproduce the problem.
