USB tethering diagnostic results:
- Android phone detects the USB connection.
- USB tethering can be enabled on the phone.
- No working network connection appears on ArkOS4Clone.
Original factory firmware supported USB tethering on this same device.
Bug Description
USB tethering does not work on my Clone Type 3 Panel 1 device with ArkOS4Clone.
The phone detects the R36S connection and allows USB tethering to be enabled, but the R36S does not get an internet connection.
The same phone and cable work correctly for USB tethering with Ubuntu Linux, and the original factory firmware for this device also supported USB tethering.
Steps to Reproduce
- Flash ArkOS4Clone-07112026.img to an SD card.
- Boot the R36S clone (Clone Type 3 Panel 1).
- Connect an Android phone to the OTG USB-C port using a USB-C data cable.
- Enable USB tethering on the phone.
- Check network status on the R36S.
- No internet connection is available.
Expected Behavior (Optional)
USB tethering should create a network connection and provide internet access from the Android phone.
