sqlite: Timing out a long running query - is interrupt supported?

I need the ability to timeout some long running queries so plan to wrap the query in select, however, I'm curious if this will result in the query being interrupted with sqlite3_interrupt at some point. Or if it'll just keep running to completion?

No, but if you stop receiving rows it'll halt and reset the prepared statement after the next iteration.

I usually need this when I don't get a row within a certain amount of time, its an edge case, but happens.

After posting this I found the set_progress_handler which allows me to cancel a query after some duration which gives me the desired behavior. Thanks.
