Review project Governance

• Questions?
  • We have new folks in the lab. Does everyone understand what these documents are about?
  • Backing out (in the weeds a bit)
    • pulling soil carbon data out of manuscripts
    • why pulling data out of CSVs?
    • so the data is accessible, not 'locked' in a PDF
  • What is a CSV?
    • plain text format for storing tabular data — e.g. a spreadsheet
    • comments — checklists and comments are appreciated by many

Data rescue template revision

• Going through document metadata (YAML preamble)
• Grad students put your ORCID in — if you don’t have one you don’t exist (#facts)
• the role tag may change...
• timelog: this is meant to replace the gnarly google sheet with all the time estimates (IIRC)
  • these are meant to be ISO standard time stamps (or same format)
  • so….someone….can compute duration scriptastically
• Question: what is THH?

• @vaasukimarupaka: Will come back to working on ISCN4 curation in about two weeks.
• @laylakalandjian: Kramer2016 all but finished (readme shenanigans) + then switching over to Crow2020
  Should have both of these done within the next week.
• @AshBonner310: Finished Austin2010 Rescue prior to laptop issues. Need to (1) retrieve it from OneDrive, (2) update it to new template, and (3) perform pull request for it.
