PDFminer.six support?

Hello, I tried to install PassportEye  which uses old [pdfminer](https://github.com/euske/pdfminer) library which is discontinued. Is it possible to decommission pdfminer and use [pdfminer.six](https://github.com/pdfminer/pdfminer.six)? Thanks, Gaurang
