Flatpak "Open previous tabs at startup" fails after computer restart #1310

Steps:

  • Launch Flatpack version of Kiwix 2.4.1
  • Activated setting "Open previous tab at startup"
  • Open a ZIM file from the file browser with Kiwix
  • Kiwix is launched a new tab is open with the ZIM file homepage
  • Close Kiwix and restart computer
  • One Linux restart, relaunch Kiwix

What I get:

What I expect:
The ZIM file properly loaded

Remark:
If I just close and restart Kiwix, then the "Open previous tabs at startup" works perfectly.

Strongly suspect this is because there is no permission to access the filesystem itself - like reported on Flathub:
