Ugly oversized GUI under Windows

The GUI elements of kiwix-desktop under Windows (at least on my laptop) are too oversized:

yeah, the tabs and bar could be smaller .
also, it only switch tabs with cntrl+tab . it could work with cntrl+ pgup pgdown .
and it could have vertical tabs ;

@veloman-yunkan It would be usefuly to understand which part exactly is oversized to your opinion. For example, the tab size if pretty similar to the one of Firefox on Ubuntu:

Regarding the button on the toolbar, they are of the size the UI designer has made it. So we should reassess if we have a waste of space here? Or is that a Windows specific problem?
