Thanks for your conbribution to the community (referring also to your xda-developers posts) - first off !

2. ...and speaking of xda-developers , my focus is on Thread rooting and flashing your de-bloated rom for an pixi3(4) but i really want to avoid using the dodgy + malware king[o]root apps... so if you would please help me accomplish the rooting in some other way, would be appreciated !
   Tried so far:

• iovyroot (but i need to find offsets and i am not familiar (neither do i have it install on my win7 ) with IDA ... and i understand the offsets are mandatory.
• android rooting Tools especially ping-pong was also failing: device reboots (some protection is tripped of maybe?)
• https://github.com/hiikezoe/mole_plough also failing : device not supported iirc...
  -> so i guess maybe iovyroot would be worth a shot , if you could help me find the needed offsets , or maybe you know some other 'non-malefic' :) approach for rooting.

as a side note: i've tried writing image with spfTools, but regardless of which version / variant of the program is used, it still says ' PMT changed for the ROM; it must be downloaded error' even when i use the SPFT MOD in your linked post :(
